A unique event right on the water; the Catharina van Mijdrecht is an official wedding location of the municipality Waterland. And even if you’d rather be ashore for the ceremonial part, you can still have your reception or bachelor(ette) party aboard with us.

Having your “stag party” or “hen do” on board the Catharina means spending an active and fun day on the water. A lot is possible within the confines of a ship, or outside on the water. Last respects
Saying one’s last goodbyes to a friend, family member or loved one makes a big impression, as the mortal remains are given back to the elements. Dutch law provides the possibility for ash scattering ceremonies to be carried out on open water. We would like to help to provide you with warm and lasting memories of this occasion.
